ABOUT THE DESIGNERS

Eileen Shahbazian

I am Eileen Shahbazian. I am Armenian by ethnicity and I was born in Beirut, Lebanon. I studied sociology at an American college in Beirut. Three years after my graduation I immigrated to the States. I met my husband in the Midwest where I was visiting relatives. I have a son and a daughter. After a few years in the Midwest, we moved to California as a family and soon after, I went to SCULB to study art and design.

I did metal and stone sculpture for a number of years as well as furniture design. Then my interests shifted to photography. It is a hobby of mine that I currently pursue. Along came the opportunity to do interior design with my friend, Daniela, and we held a business together for about 5 years.

We have now started a second business making greeting cards. Our cards are inspired by spirit and they are expressed by intuitiveness. We create simple, uncomplicated statements through them.It is our hope that these statements resonate with people and delight them.

Daniela Romero Urbani

My name is Daniela Romero Urbani. I grew up in Northern Italy, in Vicenza, a city near Venice.  I met my husband in Italy, where he spent four years as an army officer. We married in Italy. A year and a half after that, I came with him to California.

After being here, I wanted to learn more about my inner self. I went back to school, where I  studied Psychology and developed a system to facilitate spiritual healing.

I have two grown children, a son, and a daughter. I'm mostly an instinctual person, and I follow my instincts. When the inner spirit calls, it always looks for expression.

These cards are a manifestation of that spirit. Our logo, given by the Master Acharya Shree Yogeesh, represents that spirit. The meaning of Juhi is a rare beautiful flower of the Himalaya mountains plucked only as an offering to God.
